Points to consider when hiring out your building for filming:
- Stick to the site primary purpose, but develop additional income to utilise space whilst unused
- Organise filming to take place whilst recognising that existing users / tenants are not disturbed
- Ensure that safety is of top importance. Each production will carry out method statements and Risk assessments as standard
- We identify each productions public liability insurance to a minimum of £10million
- Can be used to showcase assets to a national and global stage
- We have been in the business along time. We partner with major productions to supply locations of all kinds. By partnering with us we can expose you to a large range of quality productions from photo shoots, commercial and dramas to large feature films
The process:
When a potential production expresses interest in your location, a member of our team will reach out to you to discuss your property availability. We will confirm dates and provide details about the shoot, including the compensation, crew size, and any specific requirements.
If your property makes it to the shortlist, we will contact you to arrange a visit (known as a recce) by a member of the production team. For most TV and film shoots, additional recce visits, such as a Director recce and Technical recce, may be necessary before confirming the shoot.
Once confirmed we will draw up a contract that outlines all the details, so everybody knows and agrees the exact plan before the shoot. We will request payment from the production in advance and obtain a deposit to cover any additional costs.
