One of a kind straw bale new build house (self-build project) consisting of two 'wings' (south and west) joined by a thatched tower. Some rooms are finished (bedrooms mainly), some are less so, there is first fix electrics and plumbing currently, all the clay plaster is complete (internal) and a majority has been painted. The outside is finished (lime plaster with lime wash paint over). Handmade staircase in the tower made of a tree trunk and teak planks leads to the 180 degree views from the first floor, complete with a light tube from the top of the tower and the beautiful internal structure of the tower roof. All rooms upstairs are finished beside the flooring and last fix electric. There is also a log fired Rayburn in the kitchen, and all units when put in will be free standing.
On some walls there are some alcoves.
